Long & McQuade is pleased to offer a free percussion clinic with percussionist and instructor Eien Hunter-Ishikawa on Saturday, May 16th at 2:00pm. This hands-on session will focus on percussion instruments found in concert bands and symphony orchestras such as snare drum, mallet percussion, timpani, cymbals, triangle, tambourine, and other hand-held instruments. The audience will have the opportunity to try out their newly learned skills. The clinic is open to the general public and all ages are welcome.
Eien Hunter-Ishikawa is a versatile musician and instructor of drumset, percussion, and taiko drums. He holds a Master of Music degree in classical percussion and performs in a wide range of settings including jazz, rock, world music, and orchestral.
