Long & McQuade is pleased to offer a free percussion clinic with percussionist and instructor Eien Hunter-Ishikawa on Saturday, May 16th at 2:00pm.  This hands-on session will focus on percussion instruments found in concert bands and symphony orchestras such as snare drum, mallet percussion, timpani, cymbals, triangle, tambourine, and other hand-held instruments.  The audience will have the opportunity to try out their newly learned skills.  The clinic is open to the general public and all ages are welcome. 

Eien Hunter-Ishikawa is a versatile musician and instructor of drumset, percussion, and taiko drums.  He holds a Master of Music degree in classical percussion and performs in a wide range of settings including jazz, rock, world music, and orchestral.  Eien has been teaching for 20 years and continues to perform in North America, Europe, and Japan.  For more information, visit Eien’s website: www.eienhunterishikawa.com.
